Banana Joe's in Mobile, Alabama

I went to Banana Joe's for the weekend for an appearance and I was ready for it but I wasn't sure if Mobile, Alabama was ready. I went on Matt and Jay's radio show and talked about the nights hoping people would come out and show me what goes on in Mobile. I found out that Mobile was the originator of Mardi Gras and the main street kinda looks like a smaller version of Bourbon St. I got to the club and played some pool with the GM's Mark and Aaron. I met everyone that worked there and they were all really cool. I knew the night was going to be hella fun when one of the guys pulled out beer bongs. Now everyone that knows me knows I love a good beer bong. These bongs were kind of small but they definately worked. I went up against one of the bar's bigger bartender's and in my opinion he just beat me but everyone insisted that he kicked my ass. Well anyone that knows me knows I don't like to lose especially badly. So we went again and once again he beat me. Not a happy camper. I had to think about what I was doing wrong so I told him we'd definately do it again later.

Mark and Aaron wanted to show me some of the local bars on the main street before all the people came to the club. So we went to 3 other bars and they were pretty cool. They really had some great local bands playing my type of music. Just a little metal, can't beat that. When we came back the line was around the corner, we walked in and the place was going off. I found the big bartender whom I'm not going to name because I'm still upset that I lost again. Yes you heard me right I got the beer bongs and he wooped my a$$ again. Not only that but half the beer spilled on me. That's embarrassing especially when there's a bunch of people watching. The was going great, there were a lot of people partying having a great time, I'm having a blast, and getting a nice little buzz. Aaron takes me to the back and we get about 10 CO2 tanks or something like that. 10 of us went all around the bar and stood on top of the bars aimed the tanks toward the crowd and on 3 we blasted the crowd with nice cold air. It looked bad a$$ if I do say so myself. I met some really cool people and to be honest what really made my time both nights were the cool people that worked there. I mean they all seemed like they got along and watched over each other. I like seeing that. Oh yeah I saw one of the people I met while I was there getting into a fight, so of course I had to go over there. Here's the funny part I grabbed the other guy's legs and dragged him out of the bar. It was quite funny.

The next night was a teen night. It was the first time they ever did this so they brought me in so people would come. Mark and I went to the mall to promote for it but we really felt like pedifiles asking kids 13-19 to come to the bar for a party. So that really didn't work. I'm not really sure how you're supposed to promote for teen nights. Maybe hire kids at high schools to spread the word. We got to the club and waited for the teens to show up. It wasn't a huge crowd by anymeans but what can you do. I talked to a bunch of the kids and danced and had fun. After we went to TGIFriday's and brought the beer bongs. Oh yeah baby. They all tried to claim I lost to Sarah but I don't think I did. I don't lose to girls in beer bong. Sorry. I must of done 6 beer bongs that night. Is that bad? :) I didn't drive, see no drinking and driving.

I had an amazing time at Banana Joe's in Mobile, Alabama and I want to thank everyone that I met especially Mark and Aaron for showing me around. You guys have a great club going and a even better crew of friends. Thanks for taking me in and you better believe I'll be back so keep those beer bongs ready. :) Keep wearing the shirts and until then Be good. Be bad. BE MIZ.
