Club Appearance at Avalon in Chapel Hill, NC

I love coming here because I know all the bartenders and I'm good friends with the owners and managers. This time it was a special party because it was Jeremy's (one of the owners) birthday's. As soon as I stepped off the plane they handed me a beer and told me to be prepared for a long night. Normally I'd say hell yeah but I just got done with a club appearance in Austin that was insane. Now I had to have it back to back. Oh the memories of Cancun are coming to play.

We started at a cook out with a bunch of people. I'm a huge fan of cook outs: burgers, hot dogs, chips, beer, meeting new people how can you go wrong. I'll tell you how involving tequila shots in the mix. A couple guys puked and said they felt better but I said no way am I going to come close to that. But by this time I wasn't sure if I was even going to make it to the club appearance but I put on my big boy pants and said what the hell.

Next we went to East End where we met up with some more people and by 11PM I was feeling pretty good. The nerve racking part was I was getting interviewed for GQ mag. He wanted to see what it was like after The Real World and how it is on the speeches and club appearances. I was nervous because sometimes club appearances are packed wall to wall with people and some times there's no one there. So I was hoping for a lot of people.

We got to Avalon and there was maybe 30 people there but I was still having fun because the whole staff was there and they were glad to see me again. Plus I got to talk more to the writer. After an hour the place started packing up and by the end of the night...thank god...the place was packed so it was a success.

I had a great time once again at Avalon. If you're ever in Chapell Hill I'd definately recommend it. I've been there 4 times and every time has been fun
