Charity Event with Ace

So Ace called me up and asked if I wanted to do a charity event with him up in Atlanta. I said "sure. What will we be doing?" He's like all we have to do is auction ourselves off and go on a date right after. I thought i'd be fun and since I was new to Atlanta I could meet some new, nice people in my area. We arrange it all so my friend/ roomate Nick could be in the charity auction as well. So the date is set.

Ace never told me where the charity event was held. So when I arrived I was very surprised to see that the location was a strip club. Not only was it a strip club but one of the girls is famous for crushing beer cans with her boobs. Yeah that kind of strip club. Hell, I thought it was pretty cool that meant it was a suit and tie event. I get inside and quickly notice a stripper with huge knockers on the bar stage (fully clothed...well a little skin showing but PG-13). The place was nicely packed which made me happy because this charity was going to a little girl who had cancer and got over it but it ate away at her skin and this was to get her looking back to the way she used to look. With all the people there and the door going to charity I knew we were going to raise well over enough.

Now here's where I got a little weery, yeah now I'm getting weery. See, I went to the bar and ordered drinks for my friends. I notice this girl looking at me and giving me the finger. I'm like what the hell. She's like you cut in front of me. I said but I'm over here and the bartender came to me. I didn't even notice her. She was wasted, so she did the thing where she realized she was wrong but her ego wouldn't let her do it so she got pissed and started calling me a dick. I instantly thought I was getting punk'd. I mean first I'm doing a charity event in a strip club and all of a sudden I cut in front of a girl at a bar eventhough I'm a good 5 feet away from her.

Ace, Nick, and I went to the back of the strip club to have a seat and wait for our turn. Who comes all the way over...you guessed it that girl. To yell at me some more. Now, I knew exactly why she came over by the first words that popped out of her mouth. Who the fuck do you think you are? I said, I'm Mike who are you? then put out my hand to shake hers (like most introductions are done) She said again, who the fuck do you think you are? Do you think you're big and you can cut in front of people? I said no I simply walked up to the bar the bartender came over to me and asked what I wanted. She was like whatever you suck you should be nicer to people when you're at a charity event. I honestly couldn't believe my ears and I was still waiting for Ashton to come out. I swear some times I get these drunk girls that want me to have an ego and start bragging about The Real World just so they can say he's an arrogant prick but they are mistaken because I'm really not like that.

Finally that girl leaves and the bidding for the auction started. People were spending between 50-200 dollars each person. I got scared because what if they used all their money before Ace, Nick, or me went up. I'd be up there looking like a jackass having people bid .25. I could see it happening...come on people this is for charity help us out. I felt like they were going to have to beg.

Ace went first and people were bidding like crazy he got up to something like 250 which was the highest. Now the pressure was really on I mean if Ace got 250 and I got .25 I'd feel like an idiot.

I went next and the bidding started a little slower than Ace's but at least it wasn't at .25. It went from 25 to 50 to 100 and kept going. I was in awe I mean I barely spend 50 bucks on a date and a girl is willing to pay all this money to go on a date with me. Guess what the final bid was.....ready....wait for it.....450. Yeah I couldn't believe a girl spent that much money to go on a date with me. I was happy because I broke my .25 goal and helped out a little girl. Gotta love that. I sell myself for a date any time for charity for a little girl.

Nick went right after me and had a real hard time because I stole all his dance moves so he couldn't use any of them. It was funny as hell. He still got bid for $80.

All and all we had a great time and I hope we made enough for that little girl. I really think we did. Oh yeah and that girl that was mean to me apologized and said the reason she was like that was because she wanted to meet me and had a preconcieved notion that I was arrogant but I proved her wrong. It was all good though. Thanks to everyone at the charity event especially the girl that bid on me. I'm still waiting for that date. :)
